Taxi cabs in Kaifeng are very small and have these bars so that you have something on which to hold on for dear life. Cab riding is a hazardous adventure in China.

I’m thinking Kaifeng, a city of 400,000 in Central China’s Henan region, has more of these 3-wheel taxis and all kinds of two-wheelers than 4-wheel automobiles. I never saw a pickup truck in China at all, BTW.
