My resolutions for the New Year are the same resolutions I make every morning of my life when I start the day with Bible study, prayer and reflection. …
To listen more and talk less.
To love more and talk about love less.
To live life to the fullest, with integrity and authenticity.
To be true to the Way, the Truth and the Life.
To advance the kingdom of God by responding to God’s will for mercy and peace with justice, guided every minute of the day by “the fruits of the spirit”: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.
To be realistic, seeing the world unflinchingly as it is with all its sin and evil, while being idealistic, imagining what the world could be and getting to work on that vision.
Grace and peace and Happy New Year.
